Why wouldn’t Palin’s daughter’s pregnancy be a legitimate subject for an
opposing candidate to bring up … *in light of* her opposition to
comprehensive sex education and advocacy of an abstinence-only approach?

Now, I’m talking about a candidate with integrity … so that lets out
Obama (or any Demoratic nominee … past, present or future) … and I’m
not talking about rumor-mongering (and also not accusing Obama’s
campaign of such … as I don’t know one way or the other).

But to bring up the contradiction between a candidate’s positions on
this issue and the failure of those positions in her own home … in
order to point out how the damage they do in the real world, and without
in any way criticizing the daughter … seems to me to be a valid action
to take.

After all, it’s not only about Palin’s daughter … it’s also about all
the young women who face the pressures and the consequences of sexual
activity without having access to vital information and contraception,
